Data Deletion

You can request deletion of personal and advertising data held by DUHAI. This page explains how to submit a request, how we verify it, how long it takes, and what we may retain.

DUHAI respects your control over your personal information. This page explains how to request deletion of data we hold about you or your ad accounts, and how we handle deletion requests.

Quick path: email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Please write from the email associated with your DUHAI or authorized TikTok account so we can verify your identity.

1. Scope

This process applies to:

  • Contact information you provided through website forms, email, or business communications;
  • Access tokens and authorization status obtained through TikTok OAuth;
  • Copies of ad account, campaign, reporting, and creative data stored to provide the services;
  • Operational logs, support tickets, and communication records associated with your account.

Data that has been anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer identify a person or account, and financial, contract, or dispute records that must be retained by law, are outside this deletion process.

2. How to submit a request

  1. Email us: send a message to [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
  2. Include the essentials: your name, company, registered email, and the TikTok ad account ID or DUHAI account identifier you want deleted. Do not send passwords or full payment details.
  3. Verify identity: we may ask you to reply from the associated email or provide proof of account ownership. Requests we cannot verify may not be processed.
  4. Confirm scope: we will explain what will be deleted, what must be retained by law, and the expected completion time.
  5. Deletion: after verification, we will delete or anonymize the relevant data within 30 days and send you a confirmation.

3. Revoking TikTok access

Deleting data and revoking authorization are separate actions. We recommend doing both:

  1. Sign in to your TikTok or TikTok for Business account;
  2. Open the security, permissions, or authorized-apps settings;
  3. Find “DUHAI Ads / 渡海智投” and remove its access;
  4. If the app does not appear, contact us and we will help trace the authorization source.

After revocation, we can no longer sync data or perform actions that depend on the authorization. You may still submit a data deletion request.

4. Timeline

Complex requests or large data volumes may take longer. We will explain the reason and expected timing.

5. Information we may retain

Even after a deletion request, we may retain limited information as necessary to:

  • Comply with tax, accounting, anti-fraud, or other legal obligations;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • Maintain anonymized statistics that cannot re-identify a person or account;
  • Investigate abuse or attacks using the minimum necessary security log information.

Retained information is used only for those purposes and deleted when they are complete.

6. Children's data

If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 18, contact us immediately. We will prioritize deletion after verification.
